Components Simulation

Objective
Simulate the effect of the forces on a bar.
Understanding the Bar Model
Loads, constraints and geometry determine how a bar deforms. A simulation is useful for exploring those relationships, but its result is conditional on the selected model. The original plots are retained below; exact dimensions, materials and solver settings are not available in this explanation.
Testing and Real-World Use
This could be tested by comparing a clearly specified bar model with an analytical deformation estimate and checking the effect of mesh refinement. The comparison is useful for detecting unit and boundary-condition mistakes before interpreting a finite-element plot as an engineering result.
