These early project images relate to eye-hand tracking and virtual environments. Two separate pieces of work now have dedicated summaries:
- Falling Ball: gravity perception and object interception in VR — my September 2023 MSc thesis, including the participant study, experimental conditions, and limitations.
- Gaze-guided robot teleoperation in mixed reality — a December 2023 working paper describing simulated robotic unbolting, grasping, and cutting tasks.
Testing and Real-World Use
This could be tested by aligning gaze and hand recordings to the same clock and coordinate system, then measuring timing and spatial errors separately. The measurement approach is useful for interpreting eye–hand coordination and gaze-based input, while the linked studies provide the specific experimental evidence beyond these early illustrations.
